An extraordinary woman of courage, zest, compassion and rare sense of virtue - Brethren from Uyo, Nigeria

Brother duCille,

We received the news of sister Mavis' departure with a deep sense of loss, it was a couple of weeks ago that I was burdened with taking a refreshed and closer look at "Nuggets of the Needy" and I could picture once again a woman that was defined by faith. Quite suddenly I am now faced with the reality that such an extraordinary woman of courage, zest, compassion and rare sense of virtue will no longer be in the flesh with us at a time like this. However, knowing full well that she has departed to a better estate, I take this with a fresh sense of hope in view of the fact that she fought the fight of faith to the last point. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you and your family at this time and we ask that the good Lord will give you all the strength and fortitude to move on in these times. May the light of his countenance and his ever sufficient comfort remain with you in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
