Dear Brother Cecil,
I was so sorry to hear of Mavis' illness and as I followed the events leading to her passing, my heart went out to you and I grieved with you along the way. We are facing very difficult times and as I think of our dear sister Mavis, it seems it would have been a very great challenge for her. So, she has been spared possibly great suffering and now you must finish alone. I pray that you will be comforted by your precious memories of a very special sister and companion, a relationship made in Heaven. May you be comforted also by the brethren, friends, and family who love you.
